Press Release Summary: Charities are starting to benefit from Café Nova Sheffield's new meetings and conference facility
Press Release Body: Charities are starting to benefit from Café Nova Sheffield's new meetings and conference facility, starting with local charity Safe@Last based in Dinnington, who will be holding a charity designer fashion show at Café Nova in March. See local press for details in the New Year.
Italian restaurant Café Nova is putting charities first with the recent launch of a new meetings and events package aimed specifically at charities and voluntary organisations.
Café Nova offers free room hire for charities (advance booking required) and discounted rates on food and drinks subject to confirmation of your charitable status.
SAFE@LAST is a charity working with and on behalf of children and young people at risk through running away. SAFE@LAST was established in June 2000 in response to an acute need for services for the one in nine children under 16 years who run away or are forced to leave home every year in South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North East Derbyshire.
Safe@Last now runs a free helpline service, 0800 335 SAFE , every day of the week. The helpline is operated by trained volunteers, and supported by a professional early response and ongoing support service which is aimed at ensuring immediate safety, and supporting a young person's return to home or a place of care. Safe@Last has also recently opened its refuge, the only one outside of London, which offers children in need a safe place to stay.
Café Nova boasts an Ideal central location within easy walking distance of Sheffield train station and Supertram, an extensive range of audio visual equipment, and a dedicated and professional team of staff who are committed to ensuring that each individual event and meeting is a success. Daniela Massarella, marketing manager for Café Nova and the Massarella Catering Group, said: "There are dozens of charities and voluntary organisations based in and around the city and we would be happy to give them a free guided tour so they can see our facilities. We realise that it might not be obvious from street level that we have meeting facilities, so we're writing to charitable organisations letting them know we're here and how we can help. We offer a safe, relaxing and highly convenient place to meet, combined with traditional Italian cooking which we believe is a compelling proposition - not just for charities but for anyone planning small events and meetings in the city centre.
"Café Nova is the ideal place for charities to hold occasional events or regular meetings and we're doing our bit to ensure that the good work of these organisations and individuals is rewarded with discounts appropriate to their charitable status.
